A fleet of 34 British naval aeroplanes raided German positions in Belgium targeting Brussels Nébrugge Ostend and Blankenburg. Claude Graham White reportedly fell but was rescued. Bombs caused unspecified damage to the enemy amid widespread consternation.

Mr and Mrs F W Woolsey of San Bernardino motored to the city today and took dinner with friends, sharing an informal social call during their outing.
Mrs. Chester Ferris and her daughter Dorothy from Los Angeles are in the city for a Sunday visit with Miss Louiae Oakey.
The first electric passenger car in the city limits reached Corona around 2 p m for inspection by company officials. The party included D V Pontius F D Annable EB Thomas M P Groftholt and H Belt.
