Aged resident takes carbolic acid and dies at home
Milton Lewis 71 resident of Fourth street near East Boulevard died after drinking carbolic acid alone in his house. His daughter Mrs Weidemeyer had sent him to the post office and found him later on the floor with a cup containing residual acid. He had planned his death and moved from Illinois to Coyona two years earlier. Funeral held at 3 pm from the family home, Sunnyslope cemetery burial.
