Gerial Miller owner of the main Street Livery won $625.42 plus interest in Judge Densmore's court against Sheriff F. P. Wilson over attached stock sale consequences. The court ruled the elder Miller validly sold his interest to Gerial, so the stock became his property, with bonds protecting the sheriff. No damages for business operation during attachment were awarded.

The building inspector cited $11 255 in permits. cobble stone bottoms proved superior to cement, with an extra cost up to one half cent per square foot. Walters seriously hurt in railroad crossing accident
H P Walters a former Corona man and brother of H A and C B Walters was run over by a Southern Pacific yard engine at Third and Alameda streets Los Angeles. He suffered the loss of his right arm and a severe leg wound and was taken to Receiving Hospital where surgeons amputated the arm. His condition grew critical from loss of blood and shock during the operation.

Ordinance 170 requires houses within the circle to be numbered in two inch metal figures within sixty days after the second reading, with a five dollar fine for noncompliance.
