Narrow Escape as Wagon Wheel Misses Head
Preston Cross, 17, son of Aova Cross, barely escaped serious harm when the delivery wagon ran over him after he dropped a rein. He reached forward to grab it, toppled onto the dashboard, and was dragged by the horse as the wheels passed over his head, but was bruised only on the head and uninjured otherwise.
