Mile of Pennies Fund Drive For War Sufferers

City campaign to raise funds for European war relief progresses with a goal of one mile of pennies equaling over $800. The Woman's Improvement Club and the Chamber of Commerce lead efforts with representatives including Mrs W H Jameson Mrs F J Mueller Miss Lillian J Lewis and Messrs W C Barth Chas Hoss and Chas Scoville. Pennies nickels dimes and quarters are collected in boxes citywide to fund the mile of pennies from Corona.
