London dispatch reports Bulgarian forces forced French and British from Demir Kapu ravine on the Saloniki Nish railway and drove defenders from positions west of Lake Dorian. Fighting continues with rising violence as Serb army flees. Casualties are listed as unknown.
Reports from Fronteras say Gen. Elias Calles relieved a Carranza detachment as three hundred Villa soldiers were killed and prisoners taken. Nearby, Gen. Victoriano Huerta was returned to Fort Bliss after illness, now confined there under tighter guard.
W G Parst of Hiram Utah visits for winter as Wilbur reports solid honey yields in California. Mrs J Mueller and Mrs Geo Blair attend a Highlands Woman's club luncheon today.
