Former Corona man involved in car accident near Los Angeles
Thursday evening November 28 Dr M B Huff formerly of Corona and father of R P Huff of Corona was in a collision near Compton with F M Buckley. Mrs Rena Glenn and others in the Huff party suffered injuries but are recovering. Dr Huff broken collar bone and ribs. The Huff daughter in the group was feared to have spine injury but is now recovering.

The ten acres of nravel orange trees near Ontario known as the Hawkins grove on Buena Vista street sold for $15,000 to H. H. Lewis of Santa Ana after a buyer’s expert Riverside investigation. Lewis will retain the property and provide personal care while remaining in Corona. The sale was arranged by Garvey Linn and Company. Hawkins had bought the grove a year ago for $10,000 through Biale Veach.
