Perris Man Claims Tailoring Scam
Edwin Thompson of Perris told police that on February 2 he gave a man a $5 deposit for a suit to be supplied by the Standard Tailoring Co of Chicago. The agent claimed an office in room 2 Leighton block Riverside but Thompson later learned the office does not exist and believes he has been swindled out of $5.
