Pomona Race Program Draws Large Crowds At County Fair
At the Los Angeles County Fair in Pomona the 2:10 pace drew a strong field including Ester Bond Billy H Santa Crysta Civilian Verna Dillon and Dude Brooke. Ester Bond won heat one with Santa Crysta taking heat two and Civilian repeat heat placements. The 2:12 trot featured Barbara D Chief Etawah Mary Miles High Voltage and Fred die Johnson with High Voltage edging Mary Miles for third in the final heat.
