Opposition light for cut off routing public hearing

Building permits issued in Corona from January to February totalled 44 for the month, surpassing last year’s figures and driving year to date values to 2,763,201. Aluminum firm moves to Corona
Alronco Manufacturing announces entry into Corona with production to begin by March 1. President Ron Walters and EVP Allen Lewis secure a long term lease on the former city yards from Joseph Delco Jr. The plant will hire about 15 workers now and 50 at full production, producing 8 000 aluminum windows and 1 000 doors monthly using 100 000 pounds of extrusion. Burn victim rites held for Myron Mayfield
Funeral services were held today for Myron Francis Mayfield 64 of Corona after he fatally burned in a grass fire near his home. Private cremation followed at Thomas Mortuary. Mayfield walked into the flames in a pasture near Eastvale as family tried to deter him. Survivors include wife Susan and son Vincent both of Denver, two sisters Blanche Reynolds Corona and Ruth Knowland Evergreen Colorado. Mayfield was born October 20 1898 in Denver.
