Some districts levy 1.49 per 100 of assessed value while others pay 1.31. the higher rate continues until the bond is paid off, with public concern over the unequal tax burden and district confusion.
The fourth round of Norco budget hearings begins at 7 30 pm in City Hall Council Chambers. Proposals include 310 500 for water capital improvements 102 000 for storm drain work and carryover items a 25 000 backhoe trailer combination and an 80 000 River Road and Country Club traffic signal.
