Mr. Frazier McNeill announces that at 11 a.m. on Monday July 4 Con ley E Almany of Bristol Tennessee will place a memorial wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier on behalf of Goodwill Industries of America. Almany, a former Goodwill trustee, was the first sentry 28 years ago and will be aided by disabled World War II veterans in training at Davis Memorial Goodwill in Washington. Percy J Trevethan will deliver the tribute noting sacrifice for national independence, with government lawmakers and diplomatic corps attending.

Fireworks Stand Destroyed In Quick Blaze
About $1 600 worth of fireworks and a stand owned by Leeds Chesshir at 1553 West Yorba Street were destroyed when a Piccolo Pete misfire sparked a fire outside the stand. Leeds Jr said the blaze shot up in minutes with little noise due to absence of illegal crackers. A radio and microphone were also lost. insurance is believed to cover the loss.

Helen Springborg Hosts Soroptimists Luncheon at Glen Ivy

High Fire Threat Forecast For Holiday Weekend

Snake steals teeth in lake grab
