A garden al fresco tea hosted by Mrs. T. C. Sias on Lemon Street celebrated Miss Katherine Sias as an early autumn bride. About twenty friends attended, with guests and hostesses in formal summer attire among pink phlox, lilies, delphinium, and larkspur. Legion Auxiliary Meets With Mrs Ralph Martin Tuesday
Members of the American Legion Auxiliary met at the home of Mrs Ralph Martin 538 West Eleventh street for the semi monthly session. President Miss Janet MacMillan led a brief business period and plans for a Fourth of July parade float were finalized with Merbert Wroot as feature chair. An inter county council meeting is set for Colton July 21 with an all day agenda and luncheon. A mystery box prize was won by Mrs D K Menefee a box of correspondence cards. New member Mrs Jodges will attend the next meeting July 22 at 7 pm.

Fred Shane of Perris was severely injured Saturday morning when his tractor overturned at Feldspar Ranch near Nuevo. He was thrown against a loading chute, slashed on the face and forehead by sharp blades, and struck at the back of the neck, rendering him unconscious.
