Legion Auxiliary Meeting Plans July Picnic
The W. H. Jameson Jr. post 216 American Legion auxiliary met in Memorial hall on Tuesday June 27 with Pres Ethel Steiner presiding. Donations to the department of child welfare and Rehabilitation for the summer months were ordered. A letter from the auxiliarys adopted veteran at San Fernando was read. A joint picnic with the Legion was planned for July. Linschied and Szabo were named on the arrangements committee. The program for the annual district meeting at Huntington Beach was distributed. Mrs Kroonen won the mystery box.
