Norco Man Held On Morals Charge By Sheriff's Office
Paul Haydn Gardner a 39 year old from Valley View Norco pled guilty to contributing to the delinquency of minors possession of lewd pictures and literature and other morals offenses. Gardner an ordained minister and former Boy Scout leader admitted guilt with no alibi and awaits sentencing in county jail. Authorities say the case stemmed from questioning Corona junior high school boys and older youths after obscene material came to light via a juvenile arrest for intoxication. Investigators note Gardner photographed and distributed some pictures and purchased or traded for others. He had lived in the county about a year with no prior morals offense record. Further inquiries into the source of obscene material continue with no word on others involved.
