Jimmy Stewart Wins Promotion

Jimmy Stewart son of Mr and Mrs D Stewart of 122 Francis Street has been promoted to lieutenant colonel according to a brief cable received by his parents. He is stationed at the Eighth Fighter Command headquarters near London in England and notes he is not flying much now after completing combat missions. Stewart has been in England for 18 months and hopes to return to the United States after about six more months overseas.
