Pretty Riverside Wedding at First Baptist Church

Lois Ruth Terpening and Boyd Clinton Rasmussen wed at 3 pm Sunday with Rev. Fred White officiating. The ceremony featured floral decor, family attendants, and a reception for about 150 guests as the couple plans a Corona home after a Sequia National Park honeymoon.

Equestrians Ride to Glen Ivy Sunday

A party of equestrians rode to Glen Ivy Springs on Sunday morning. They were hosted at breakfast by another group arriving by auto, then returned to Corona. Piano Pupils in Recital Sunday at J C Hoover Home

Mrs Gladys Hoover Nelson presented a group of piano pupils in a Sunday afternoon recital at the J C Hoover home on South Main street. A yellow and white color scheme and refreshments followed the program with Jeanette Clements flutist assisting. Twenty five guests from Ontario and Corona attended as Mary Patricia Newhouse Emily Moore Arthur Moore Corona Jackie Clements Bill Bigly Norma Schmid and Jeanette Clements performed Chopins Ballade in A flat opus 47 was beautifully played by Mrs Nelson.

Rev White Weds Couple Sunday

Miss Dorothy Carlisle of Huntington Beach and Farris Eugene Farber were united in marriage Saturday evening at the First Baptist church parsonage. Rev. Fred E. White performed the ceremony at 9:80 oclock with Mrs. White and Miss Rena White as witnesses. The bride wore white and a corsage of rose buds. The couple will reside at Westminster where the groom works on a ranch.

River Swim Draws Youths Despite Permit Shortage

The Santa Ana River near the Norco bridge has become a popular spot for youths pressing per m it limits for a dip in Corona city plunge. Travel between Corona and Norco is heavy with traffic and many youngsters attempt the four mile trek, with risks from attempts to bypass rules.

Mrs Albert Pies ter and daughter Mary and son Charles hosted Miss Jodita Blakely of Gilbert Arizona and Miss Ha Hughes and Lena Hughes of Ontario for a Long Beach picnic and view of the USS Colorado. Miss Blakely will return to Flagstaff College.

New York Auction Markets For Valencias And Lemons
