Corona Parks Plan Seen To Cost Up To Twenty Thousand
Corona's Parks and Recreation Commission urged the City Council to authorize up to 20 000 dollars for a master plan to guide park development. Owen Menard and Associates would perform the four month study as phase two of the park survey, with scope trimmed to cut costs. The panel also recommended raising park fees charged to developers to cover land and development costs, based on land cost per acre density per unit and an advised park land standard per 2000 population. Postal Service Announces Higher Business-Reply Mail Fees

Riverside Man Convicted of Corona Gang Style Murder
Riverside Superior Court convicted 52 year old John Caraban of first degree murder in the Corona shooting death of 25 year old Robert Bell.
