State Fire Truck Equipment Installed for City
Corona firemen received notice yesterday that permanent equipment could be installed on the state fire truck used for city fires after 11 months. The 1000 gallon pumper had lighting power plant and nozzles fitted at Chino Prison, a prison trade program, without charge. The truck is one of four borrowed from the State Fire Department and awaiting state approval.

Ben K. Fife age 61 of Magnolia avenue and Nadine Frances Christian age 26 of D street were involved in Corona's only auto accident reported by the police. Fife's three quarter ton pickup was east on Seventh street at 5 12 pm Monday when rear ended by a car traveling north on Victoria avenue. No injuries were reported.
