Anaheim demands revenge in a big Monday night showdown at Corona City Park. O R VanDerhoof warns the league as Anaheim vows to overturn last week’s trouncing and draw a large crowd for the 7 30 p m tip off.
Graduation exercises for Riverside High School’s 1928 class will take place this evening at the stadium with about 276 graduates and an expected crowd topping three thousand. The procession starts at seven, with junior girls escorting. Reserved seats cover 1400 relatives. 1000 more seats available. many will fill hillside slopes.
Four Coronado boys spoke at First Methodist Sunday School about their trip to the Midnight Mission in Los Angeles. They were shown the work for the down and outs by Brother Tom Liddlecoat, and their account impressed teachers Frank Thompson and Harry Whitcomb.
Four men described as miners were booked at the police station yesterday on charges of drunkenness and disturbing the peace. They were arrested following complaints at the venue over the weekend.
