CHS Gym Opens for Summer Sports and Boxing
The Corona High School gym will be open daily from 1 to 5 p.m. for all ages to enjoy tennis softball touch football basketball badminton ping pong boxing tumbling and more. Badminton classes run Tuesday nights 7 to 10 p.m. boxing classes start Thursday. semi finals are July 29 and finals August 5.

Santa Ana Driver Pleads Guilty To Speed Violation
Percy Jerome Cuff of Santa Ana was sentenced to pay a $25 fine for violating basic speed laws after an March 4 accident. He failed to appear to answer the complaint and began serving one day for every two in county jail. The incident occurred when his car overturned in a storm drain at Citrus and Cleveland in the Mira Loma district.

Rutland Found Guilty Disturbing Home Charge
Hershel Rutland of 4193 Mariposin Avenue Arlington was found guilty of disturbing the peace in a Justice Court trial. A battery charge against him was dismissed. The misconduct alleged by his wife Beulah occurred at their home on June 2. Rutland awaits sentencing before Justice George J. McCauley tomorrow.
