Teen drivers take driving test as Jaycee event noted
The Road-E-O program at Santa Clara featured 14 teen participants in a four part driving test with a 56 question written quiz. Roger Kleine led with a near perfect driving score of 197, while others trailed with 92 on written and 165 on driving. Judges noted limited scanning and backing skills though overall performance was solid. Officials credited DeSoto Plymouth for cars and offered dinners as prizes. Building permits were issued for a residence patio and a swim pool.
