Two Riverside Prisoners Seek Parole On June 15
Two prisoners at Riverside county jail will ask the county parole board for parole at its June 15 meeting. Jose Chavez began a one year sentence for DWI on November 17 last year and Henry Willis started a one year term for DWI plus a 110 day Wright act violation on October 16, 1930. Parole board members are Sheriff Carl Rayburn Police Chief Nestor Brule and District Attorney Harl Redwine.

Riverside June 12 William R Collins Riverside county jail trusty who vanished from the jail February 6 1929 while serving an eight month term as a federal prisoner for violation of the white slave act has returned to the county to finish his sentence. He was sought by federal officers since escaping and was recently arrested in Kansas City Missouri. Collins became a trusty in the Riverside jail and on February 6 left on an errand and failed to return until now.
