At Niagara Falls mediators will not officially admit Carranza representatives to the peace conference. South American diplomats maintain the armistice demand. Carranza’s note reached Washington without an armistice reference. Lawyers Louis Cabrera and Jose Watence los may join as constitutionalist representatives. President Wilson says progress at the Niagara Falls talks is encouraging and expects a successful outcome soon.

The new agents will run the Ford car business alongside real estate. Crenshaw previously worked as a Ford agent in Whittier. Attorney Stahl of Ontario, formerly of this city, visited on town business.
Friends gathered at the Boulevard tract home of Mr. and Mrs. Black Beatherston to honor the newly married couple. After a serenade with tin cans and horns guests entered for more merriment, games followed by punch and wafers. Some party members snuck into the bedroom and left small items including crackers and other trinkets as pranks.
Mrs Eunice Morrow of this city has been engaged by the board of education at Hemet to head Harmony school next year succeeding her father A P Lemon who retires after years of service. The Lemmons will spend summer at Manhattan Beach with a stop at Corona for property interests and plan improvements at their Corona ranch before returning in fall.
Mrs. Evelyn Bowser arrives back at her Arcadia Indiana home Wednesday morning after spending several weeks with her parents Mr and Mrs Frank Ewing in town.
Teiescal Water company will not finish the domestic reservoir on Lemon Street until fall. The nearly completed structure will supply domestic water to Corona users once the concrete has set.
