Corona High School to Graduate Largest Class Ever

Corona High School will stage commencement at 7 15 p m at the stadium for its biggest graduating class to date. The program features the band, speeches by valedictorian and salutatorian, solos, and diplomas presented by Superintendent Kibby and Board member Mrs McNutt. The list of graduates includes many named seniors led by class president Duane Elway as program concludes with benediction and Alma Mater.

Corona Junior High School crowns its largest class the Class of 1953 with 232 graduates. A ceremony at 6 p.m. on the high school athletic field features speeches by Charles Burke and Billy Kroonen, music by the middle school band, glee numbers, and a flag salute. Names list includes Hortencia Acevedo through Gayle Beatty and William Allen through Richard Amabry.
