Trustees Make Two Appointments At Morning City Meeting
The city board of trustees at city hall at 9 o clock made two appointments and declared the offices of city recorder and city street superintendent vacant. Hull reappointed city recorder at 40 dollars per month starting June 15 and Tuthill reappointed city street superintendent at 100 dollars per month. Ordinances 323 and 324 were read, with 323 on street care and 324 on street signs. Ramsey proposed an ordinance to require gun buyers’ names and addresses, Freeman to draft it. A motorcycle for police was discussed, notes show leave for President Pentelow and lawn mower needs. Meeting set for June 16.
