Honest boys return found money and earn thanks

On a Saturday in Corona two boys Bob Pattillo and Ricky Williams found 200 dollars beside a wallet. They reported the find, the owner was located and the cash returned. Both boys received 2.50 each and broad praise from family and teachers.

District auction of Bergeron land draws $40,000 bid

The Corona-Norco Unified School District put seven parcels including the Bergeron land up for bid after deciding not to use the site. The minimum bid was set at 31 000 and the top offer reached 40 000, with the Bergerons given a chance to reclaim the property for that sum. The board will accept bids until June 21 and requires the Bergerons to decide by then.
