World Friendship Group Hosts Congregational Tea Meeting
Mrs Elizabeth Cross and Mrs A Fraser led a World Friendship group event at the Congregational church on Friday. Grace Hunt read two chapters from Moving Millions while L L Andrews summarized City Shadows. Devotionals by Annie Lincoln and current events by W J Fink rounded out the afternoon. Reports on Riverside conference were given by Mrs Mogan and Mrs Lyman. Tea closed the gathering with plans for a July meeting at the Lyman home on East Olive street.

Old Timers Picnic At Pioneer School Reunites Many
Mrs. R. D. West organized the event at the old Pioneer school house drawing over 150 former neighbors and friends. Attendees included Miss Davis a former teacher and five alumni from 45 years ago. L. L. Andrews recalled oxen driving through Santa Ana canyon to make a sheep path amid tall alfilaria.
