Mayor vows to keep Corona tax rate low amid flood control push
Mayor Charles Jameson told the Corona City Council last night he will keep the tax rate down despite pleas for more recreation facilities, police, and flood control funding. Flood district No. 2, including Corona, totals over 42 million in valuation versus the city’s 23 million, making a 1 cent flood levy significantly higher in impact.
