High School Trial Over Stolen Tablet Incident

Mrs Elizabeth Slaten of 310 Victoria street died June 1 after an eighteen month illness. Born 1855 in Illinois, she lived in Corona long after moving from California. Survived by five children Alfred Jasper Harry Hattie Hannah and brothers and sisters. funeral at the Methodist church tomorrow at 2 p.m.

Mr and Mrs J W Rowe and Ar and Mrs J S Mayfield will drive to Rialto tomorrow to visit W D Grow a former city resident. Mr and Mrs J E Kink rented the Ott house and plan to move here soon. Social gathering at Corona Country Club honors guests

Mr and Mrs L J Otto and Mrs George E B MacGillivray hosted a large reception at Corona Country Club with a piano solo by Dorothy Lincoln a vocal number by Irene Scoville and readings by W B Gunn. Bobo's orchestra provided dancing music as guests enjoyed ice cream cake and coffee served by several hostesses. The event featured red and green decor and numerous attendees listed by name.

Red Cross Seeks Corona Volunteers for War Help
