Corona council to consider 50,000 soccer funding and more
The Corona City Council will discuss a $50,000 allocation for a soccer field in the 1976-77 budget at tonight’s 6:30 p.m. meeting in the Civic Center. The session shifts from Wednesday. public hearings on zoning and a Sixth Street width change are postponed to June 16 along with a horse ban proposal. The meeting also covers water system engineering financed by a $6 million bond with proposals from James M. Montgomery Inc. and CG Engineering for project management and costs.

Vocational High School to Start at Kimbell Site
The Corona Unified School District plans a small scale vocational high school opening this September at the present Kimbell Continuation High site behind the Education Center on Buena Vista Avenue. A limited start is intended before full conversion of Corona Junior High.
