A garden wedding crowned the union of a bride and groom with friends and family in attendance. The bride wore a net gown with a shell pearl, carried gardenias and carnations, and was aided by attendant Ann Skinner. After a short reception at Mission Inn in Rio, the couple departed. An afternoon festival featured Mrs Genevieve Harmer Dart's pupils performing in a three piano ensemble. United Press reports the three day holiday saw 144 deaths vs 350 last year. Friends regret the death of Nellie LeGros 68 who lived in Glendale after leaving Inglewood. She died Wednesday May 26 after residing here since 1902 and funeral services were held at Forest Lawn on Friday May 28.
