Red Star Lodge of San Diego, the largest in the world, conferred the Knight Bank on a class of 92 candidates. Seven from Corona were named Max Zumstein Harry Allen England James C Emerson Ernest Bullock Henry Yo and Marion Bethunin. The San Diego lodge arrived by boat with 800 in tow for a Memorial Service and march. An address by Grand Chancellor Stanley B Wilgon followed. Moonlit tailwatch became a favorite pastime for delegates during the homeward trip.

Liberated helpful flies aid groves in pest control efforts

State Legislature Passes Poll Tax Law for Aliens
The new alien poll tax becomes effective 90 days after the governor signs.
