Auditor predicts lower tax rate for 1925 26 in county budget

County Auditor Harry Raymer said a nearly two million dollar rise in assessed valuation and road budget cuts signal a possible tax reduction for 1925 26. The teal rate inside cities stands at 2 67 and outside at 3 27, with county salaries dropping to 18 cents and hospital costs likely up slightly.
