An experiment to determine the best adapted street tree variety for Riverside climate will run over two years at the county farm. J. A. Packard, superintendent, will plant nine tree varieties supplied by the state department of agriculture and begin setting them out immediately.

Henry Hart, local Chrysler and Maxwell distributor, begins converting a feed-store at 113 East Seventh Street into a modern garage and sales room after leasing from Glass Bros. Workmen have started. the 50 by 150 foot door space will house a rear mechanical department and the facility is slated to open mid next month.
