An evening service at 7 30 p m features Christ's Ability to Change Your Life with choir and Mrs Roy Rice solo. A 6 30 p m Epworth League and Brotherhood devotional hour precedes. Beginning Tuesday the churches unite for a week of prayer across local houses of worship.

Union Title and Abstract Company as Trustee will sell at public auction for cash in United States Gold Coin on January 5 1918 at 10 AM at the courthouse steps Riverside California. The sale covers Lot 22 in Corona Citrus Tract containing 35.4 acres as described in Corona Citrus Tract map book 8 page 24 and aims to satisfy principal and accrued interest plus costs. The trust deed secures the note and any advances to protect the trust.
Samuel H. Westfall reports to the Council of National Defense that California is largely unified in curtailment efforts with merchants in about 40 major cities adopting either a cooperative plan or one delivery a day. Weston led the California campaign, begun last June, for the national defense council to eliminate excess.
