Strict Roadside Food Stands Under County Inspection
Riverside county board approved a strict ordinance for roadside food sellers including traveling stores. A $5 permit, health checks, and lists of employees will ensure sanitary conditions with penalties up to 100 dollars or six months in jail. The measure targets cleanliness, ventilation, and refrigeration and takes effect January 17.
