The Panthers Den on Belle Street near Ninth will be renamed The REC short for recreation center. The change follows a High School Student Council recommendation and reflects the term widely used by local youth. CHS Students Adopt Needy Kids For Christmas Gifts

Youthful suspects arrested for home burglary in August
Two Corona boys aged 13 and 16 were jailed in Juvenile Hall on burglary charges for the 811 Sheridan street break last August. Officers Lt. Heckert and Lt. Henry Housley 80 of 163 North Orange Street Orange died Wednesday evening after three months illness. Born July 31 1872 in Pike County Indiana he lived in Kansas before moving to Orange in 1929.
