Legal point questions validity of jail escape charge
In Riverside on December 16 defense attorney Joseph Seymour moved to dismiss escape charges against Valentino Serrano who allegedly escaped Corona city jail while under investigation for forgery. Serrano claims he bribed an officer. DA says the officer was off duty. Case continued to next Monday for ruling. Three forgery counts were dismissed and sent back to Corona justice court.
