California Fruit Growers exchange reports 1,250 cars of Navel oranges sold this week as market strength waned on small sizes but held on larger sizes. Prices were disappointing given fruit quality and stronger consumer buying power versus last year. Overall 4,575 cars of oranges and grapefruit shipped. California provided 1,613 oranges and 65 grapefruit, Florida 2,004 oranges and 586 grapefruit, Texas 63 oranges and 3,871 grapefruit.
