Corona Hardware and Drug Co. promote Christmas gifts, toys, cameras, doll furniture, sewing machines, and repairs. Community updates mention staff changes at the local telephone office and a band concert at Sixth and Main.
A portion of girls will receive bicycles this Christmas as an aid to parents who provide healthful activities. The plan emphasizes moderate exercise and benefits for growing girls.
In Riverside county the November butter fat test ranks Corona dairymen with first, second and fourth places among 48 honor roll cows. E Bahler reports 351 cows tested, 48 on the honor roll with 40 lbs or more butter fat. H A Younkin leads the honor roll with 2070 lbs milk and 93.15 lbs fat, also high herd average at 42.25 lbs. Other top names include T L Richmond, M E Goddreau, H C Warren, Co W Main, W F Eldridge, George Thomas, and B R Stalder reflecting strong Corona and surrounding herds.
Sunday school begins at 9 45 a m and church service at 11 00 a m with subject The Preserver of Man. Wednesday testimony meetings are first and third evenings monthly. Located at southeast corner Seventh and Washburn streets. Public invited.
The Epworth League meets at 9:88 a m with mid week devotional service at 7 30 p m on Wednesdays. Preaching services at 10 ts a m and 7 30 p m. Pastor Irvin A date leads regular church activities at N27 It.
Sunday School at 9 30 a m and morning sermon at 10 48 a m with the Annunciation theme. Mrs. Grown Brown gives the Young People presentation on China. All welcome. Pastor F C Reid leads.
Washburn and Eighth Street church holds third Sunday in Advent with Church School at 9 30 a m Monning Prayer and Sermon at 10 45 a m led by Charles E Maimann.

Rev William Keech a returned Baptist missionary from Central America will preach at the regular morning hour and present a stereoptical lecture on Carinas ge in the evening at the Baptist church tomorrow. The speaker has a fine record, and Baptists and strangers are cordially invited.
Mrs G Brown will give a talk on China at the Congregational Church tomorrow evening. The engaging speaker promises an entertaining and informative address that Corona audiences have enjoyed previously.
Welch Brothers co partnership filed with the Railroad Commission for a permit to operate an auto stage line from Niland Imperial County to Blythe Riverside County. They claim the service will drop Blythe to Niland travel time from 24 hours to about 4 1/2 hours.

W H Rough of Arlington reportedly tried to park near Elberly Market on South Main street but failed to shift gears. He drove up onto the curb and into the plate glass window, damaging the shop brick wall with only minor damage to his car.
