Farms in Riverside County and nearby areas supply produce under contract to the plant.
The Dionne quintuplets impressed Mr. and Mrs. James R. Downs of Riverside during a tour to Callander Ontario where the babies enter their 16th month. Dr Dafoe reports the quints in good health and gaining strength as they toddle shyly while press dispatches describe a throng outside their home and playful attempts to meet the public.
Local and Pomona police aided by Constable George A Mees located relatives of two young men killed last Sunday night in Pomona when their motorcycle crashed into a car. Jimmie Miles 24 of Fitzhugh Oklahoma and A P Edwards 26 of Anson were recent arrivals working on ranches northwest of Corta. The car driver was exonerated at the coroner inquiry.
Frank S. Johnson of Glen Ivy will chair the Rotary club program tomorrow at Kinney cafe. Miss Baco of Riverside Community Settlement House will discuss Puerto Rico. Piano duets by Lois Johnson and Nyda Nuetzman accompany the talk. President Glenn Harper to preside.
Scoutmasters and assistants in Riverside County Council Boy Scouts of America hold their annual meeting at Camp Emerson near Idyllwild on Saturday September 7 and Sunday September 8. Program begins 6 pm Saturday with a dinner and 7 30 pm business session. Sunday features a 2 pm meeting with a religious service and recreation.
