Elderly man slain by camp resident in assault with iron
In a camp near Corona an elderly 68 year old man of God was attacked by Reyes as he ministered to a sick man. Reyes struck him from behind with a soldering iron as a freight train passed. Camp residents restrained Reyes until police arrived. he pled guilty to assault with a deadly weapon and was sentenced to one to ten years in prison.
