A high tea at South Main Street home of Mrs. Howard Glass celebrated Mrs. Arthur E. Gale Myra Cundiff marriage in San Francisco. Miss Iris Callantine Weds David Plett at Seventh Day Adventist Church

Miss Iris Callantine formerly of Corona and David Plett of Thermal were married Thursday night in a Seventh Day Adventist church ceremony in this city. Elder Me Whitney officiated. The bride wore white silk net with pink roses. attendants Ruth Callantine and Thelma Lee wore white and carried white roses. Mrs. Plett, longtime Corona resident, will reside near Thermal after a honeymoon trip. Mr. Plett, a Canadian by birth, works at Yost ranch in Coachella Valley.

Corona Women Attend Legion Auxiliary Convention

Members of Corona unit of the American Legion Auxiliary attended the California Department convention in Pasadena from Monday to Wednesday. Incoming president Mrs. Herbert S. Wroot and delegate Mrs. Howard Were led the Corona group and presented the banner of Reveille Unit No. 216. Also attending part of the time were alternates Mrs. James Pearson, Mrs. Clarence Walker, Mrs. R. J. Steiner, and Mrs. L. W. Armstrong.

Builders Class Fetes President At Park Party

About 75 attendees at the city park joined the Builders class of the Methodist church in a gala tribute to Marshall Miller, president of the group, after games and swimming at the plunge. Improvement Seen in Mrs Hailey After Illness

Friends report Mrs Rob Hailey shows marked improvement after weeks of illness. She was moved from a sanitarium to a Los Angeles hospital under expert surgeons. X rays and tests lessen the initial fears about her serious condition. Her mother Mrs Jas Cook of Wilcox Arizona arrived in Corona on Wednesday and her father joined the family by plane yesterday.
