Forest Fire Rages in Cleveland National Forest Near Wildomar

Federal foresters urge more crews as the wildfire in Cleveland National Forest, near Elsinore, spreads from Wildomar toward Tenaja. The blaze has burned about 4,948 acres since starting near the Morilly ranch, threatening Lakeland Village homes and several cabins with near four days of fighting and minor firefighter injuries. A private 800-gallon tank truck left the Wildomar trail and overturned. the driver was rescued.
