Edward D. Roberts longtime Southern California banker and former California state treasurer died at Ramona Hospital San Bernardino after an operation for acute appendicitis He helped found First National Bank of Colton and led San Bernardino National Bank with roles in Savings Bank Rialto and First National Los Angeles He was named State treasurer in 1911 by Governor James E. Johnson and was survived by two daughters Maud Adams Roberts Kamm Marie Roberts Kamm and Walker Willis Kamm with funeral plans not yet set.
