Harding Compelled to Cancel Alaska Trip

Washington June 21. Secretary George B. Christian announced that President Harding cannot undertake his planned Alaska journey this summer due to urgent duties in the White House. The President must address tariffs, ship subsidies, and the Soldiers' Bonus bill during the current congressional session. Secretary Fall will still proceed to the northwest, with no need to align movements with the President.
