Dedham Mass June 15 Julius Spencer Morgan son of J P Morgan wed Louise Converse daughter of Frederick Converse a Boston businessman and millionaire in Dedham today.
Cordova Chamber of Commerce urges the Alaska Road Commission to build a trail over Sourdough Hill from McCarthy to Nizina to aid miners and mushers. The steamer Northwestern is due to arrive in Cordova tonight and will not sail for Seattle until about 9 o'clock tomorrow morning.
Rome June 15 The War Office accuses Austrian sympathizers of fomenting brigandage and brutal acts in Italian occupied areas. It warns such actions including sniping guerrilla warfare spying and poisoning wells will trigger harsh Italian reprisals unless stopped.
At Innsbruck on June 15 an Austrian forward movement in force has begun against Italian troops invading Trent province. The thrust targets the Rovereto to Tiva front as a major battle looms. Terrain will impede large troop movements more than in other theaters.
Dispatches from Paris say allied troops achieved slight gains at multiple points along the western front. The Paris French war office gave no comment on the area north of Arras where German forces reportedly retook some trenches recently.

London official: the British battleship Agamemnon of 16 500 tons was not sunk in the Dardanelles attack. The admiralty denies circulating reports that the vessel was harmed, stating it remains undamaged.
From Berne Switzerland June 15 the typhus outbreak in Austria worsens authorities fear for the dual monarchy. In the week ending June 5, 242 new cases were reported, signaling continued unchecked spread.
