Vancouver June 12 Associated Press report says the strikers and shipping men of the Canadian railway brotherhoods will vote on joining a general nationwide strike. The railway men’s union allows a nationwide strike and views the action as a card to win the broader dispute.
Leaders of the Korean independence movement announce a secretly formed provisional government with Yi Seung Man as president. The cabinet consists of Koreans educated in the United States and the covenants describe a republic.
