Governor Strong reports widespread ptarmigan disappearance across the Seward peninsula Yukon interior Tanana valley and Kenai peninsula with few birds seen during a twelve day mush and notes Alaska wide concern. He mentions biological survey inquiries and no paper Monday due to holiday.
